Third Time’s the Charm!

I could hardly believe my eyes when I checked back on this site last week and discovered that the story of Dr Sheep and the Aardvark had played through to the end for a second time.  So, here we go again.  Stand by and I will reschedule the strips again for 2010 so that new readers can enjoy the tale of the sensible sheep and his aardvark friend.

After concluding Dr Sheep and the Aardvark in January 2009, I had quite an eventful year.  My book Silly Beggar came out in May and I promoted it with a number of television, radio and personal appearances, as well as a good few newspaper articles about the book and the concept.  Towards the end of the summer I started an experimental comic called The Cat Comic.  It’s quite silly and it tastes of cat.

So what can you expect next year?  2009 is almost over and I’m thrilled to announce that I intend to start 2010 with a brand new project.  Yes folks, my new comic is on the launchpad, counting down ready to blast off at the start of 2010.  More details to follow soon.

Thanks for reading Dr Sheep and the Aardvark once again.  Now, just stick a memory pod to your head, wipe the story from your mind and watch it again for the first time!

Edit:  The strips have now been rescheduled to display one-a-day from 12 January 2010.  The full archive will not be taken down so readers can still read the whole story whenever they want.

The Cat Comic

I’m thrilled to announce my new webcomic: The Cat Comic

It’s a thrice weekly comic featuring all manner of bizarre, colourful cats and kittens.  Each update is a single panel of silliness introducing a new cat and their outlook on life.

The style of the strip is very different to Dr Sheep and the Aardvark but the humour is along the same lines, so if you like the ol’ sheep and ‘vark, you may well enjoy the cats.

In addition to the comic, there’s also a thrice weekly blog post about cats.  I’ve tried to make it a hub for all sorts of kitty goodness!

Once More With Feeling!

Dr Sheep and the Aardvark is a webcomic which ran from April 2007 to January 2009.  It tells a complete story about an Aardvark with amnesia lost in a land of sheep, and the doctor who helps him regain his memories.  The site is currently re-running the story (Mondays to Fridays), but if you would like to read the story in its entirety, the complete archives still exist.  The story starts here.  Why not use the newsfeed to keep up to date with it?

It is also available in print form thanks to a trilogy of comics, imaginatively titled: Comic 1, Comic 2 and Comic 3.

Comic 3 concludes the story of Dr Sheep and the Aardvark.  After a year without memories, suddenly the Aardvark remembers everything.  This issue begins with the Aardvark remembering his past.
