Howdy folks,

I had a very productive weekend.  Not only have I finished drawing all of July’s strips, but I have uploaded and scheduled them too.  Phew!  So this gives me a whole week in which I can do other things, such as training the cat to salsa dance, breaking into a heavily guarded nuclear facility or simply tickling a pig.  The usual sort of stuff that we all do when we have some extra time.  I hope you enjoy the next batch of strips when July rolls around. 

Tiffany is really getting into Photography just now and she has taken some brilliant photos.  I was thinking of updating my MySpace page soon, so I’ve been messing about with some graphics for it.  This is one of Tiffany’s photos, which I got my hands on.  Devilishly handsome fellow on the bench if you ask me.  I don’t mean the woolly one.

It was pouring rain on Sunday so Tiffany and I spent the day catching up with television shows we had taped and not yet got around to watching.  While doing this, I drew some images of Dr Sheep and the Aardvark, not for any particular strips but just for fun.  I drew them on good quality paper and much larger than I normally draw the strips (the strips are often drawn on scraps of paper and post-it notes I have lying around!).  I think I’ll use these images to try out other methods of shading and if they look good enough, I’ll use them as the store products in July.
